Our Range of Children’s Graphic Novels

Graphic Novels can be a great way to get your children interested in reading or to continue reading after losing interest. Graphic Novels tend to be visually interesting and stimulating and so may be more likely to capture and keep their attention than a chapter book. We have a small range of children’s Graphic Novels from laughing out loud with animals dealing with a human invasion or solving a mystery with Investi-Gators to taking flight with a dragon to end a war between tribes and fulfilling a mysterious prophecy. Here is what we currently have in stock:

Alex Rider by Anthony Horowitz is a six book series of spy novels which accompany the original thirteen novels. The series follows a teenage Spy whose potential is noticed by MI6 and then is armed with secret gadgets and sent on his first mission which leads him into mortal danger.

InvestiGators by John Patrick Green. A goofy series that follows the super spy alligator duo, Mango and Brash, as they travel through the sewers and fight the forces of evil with their very exciting spy technology and their tried-and-true, toilet-based travel techniques. There are currently six books in this super fun spy series with a 7th book coming out on September 26th 2023.

Dog Man by Dav Pilkey, the creater of captain underpants. A comedic series about a playful, dog-headed cop, with a tendency to great others with a friendly lick who protects the city he resides in with his friends and always gets the job done. The series currently has ten books in the series and and 11th book coming out on March 28th 2023.

Bunny Vs Monkey by Jamie Smarts is another absolutely hilarious series containing 13 books that follow Bunny, who had lived in the forest peacefully with their friends until Monkey’s rocket crashed and he decided to take over. With monkey causing mayhem and Bunny desperately trying to keep things under control, how could you not laugh when something even crazier happens!

Brightley Woven by Alexandra Bracken is an extraordinary graphic novel about magic, friendship and discovering your power through a journey that spans a country, magic and hard-won romance are woven together with precision and brilliant design.

Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland is a an epic fantasy series featuring dragons! Full of action and adventure this 15 book long series hold home to seven different tribes of dragon. Throughout the 15 books he story focuses on three different dragonets (young dragons) fulfilling prophecies and saving the world, each story taking place over five books.

Nimona by Noelle Stevenson. Nemeses! Dragons! Science! Symbolism! All these and more await in this brilliantly subversive, sharply irreverent epic that follows Nimona, a shapeshifter who joins the villain Ballister Blackheart in his plans to destroy the over-controlling Institute. It is also a standalone novel which can be quite hard to find especially in the Graphic Novel genre.
