Book Clubs At The Imaginarium
We love nothing more than talking about books. Well, maybe Tea, we can love two things right?! If you love talking about books too, then why not join one of our awesome book clubs!
At The Imaginarium, we’re keen to help build a community of book lovers. Our book clubs are part of this goal.
We run two types of book clubs; one for Science Fiction and Fantasy and one for General Fiction.
How They Work:
Our meetings are monthly, which hopefully gives you plenty of time to read the selected book. At each meeting, you can purchase the next months read. Our books are chosen through a combination of member recommendations and Imaginarium Staff oversight. We try to select titles that will be a little different, although we sometimes can’t help but chose the hottest new title.
The book acts as your “ticket” and we meet at the shop. We provide light refreshments and the meetings last about 1.5 hrs and some groups stay after the meeting to socialise with other members. The times and capacity of each group are below.

Science Fiction and Fantasy:
Phoenix - Mid month, on Wednesdays. 7pm. FULL
Dragon - End of month, on Tuesdays. 7pm. FULL
Griffin - Mid month, Sundays. 5PM. FULL
General Fiction:
Group 1- Mid month, on Thursdays. 7pm. FULL
Group 2 - End of month, on Thursdays. 7pm. FULL
